Reliance Industries in Forbes ’50 List

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), led by Mukesh Ambani, has made it to the list of Forbes’ 50 best listed companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
The list is a mix of giant, established companies and smaller outfits. This year the list includes Indian oil and gas heavyweight Reliance Industries, said Forbes Asia in a statement.
The list included companies that have revenue and market capitalization of around $3 billion. In addition, these companies boast of having five year record of operating profitability and return on equity.
Additional criteria included long term profitability, sales and earnings growth, stock price appreciation, projects earnings, quality of management and entrepreneurial skills.
In addition to featuring in the top ten in terms of sales, RIL, the flagship of the Reliance Group, also features in the top ten firms in terms of market value.
Some of the other Indian companies in the list were Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, TCS, Adani Enterprise, Wipro, Bharat Heavy Electricals, HDFC bank, and more.
